January 2011  - We're Moving!

 

In order to accommodate our ever expanding product line and to enhance our distribution capabilities, Chicago Miniature Lighting, LLC is pleased to announce that we will be moving into a new facility.

This new 28,000 square foot facility will become the primary location for all Chicago Miniature US operations including sales, engineering, warehouse and distribution. All job functions and inventory that currently reside in our facility in Hackensack, NJ will be transferred to this new facility. 

We will begin moving into the new facility on February 1, 2011 and will be 100% operational by mid-March. The Chicago Miniature team is working diligently to ensure no service interruptions during this transition. In the coming weeks you will receive additional correspondence from your contact at Chicago Miniature providing more details regarding this move.

An Extensive Line of High Bright Panel Mount LEDs from Chicago Miniature Lighting!

 

Chicago Miniature Lighting's new line of Panel Mount LED indicator lamps consists of over 700 new part numbers covering a broad range of various sizes, colors and voltage ranges.  These long-lasting devices are designed to replace incandescent or neon indicators in applications where shock and vibration can greatly shorten lamp life, or where lower power consumption is needed.

 

Features:

• 100,000 hours / 11 years average life (30-50 times longer vs. incandescent lamp equivalents)

• Rugged solid-state construction for shock and vibration resistance

• Low power consumption (up to 90% less power vs. incandescent lamps)

• Parts are designed to fit panel mounting holes ranging from 6mm up to 22mm and are available in voltages from 2v to 230V.  

• Available in a wide range of colors incorporating the latest InGaN and AlInGaP LED die technology.

• Available with matte, satin or black chrome bezels and a large assortment of lens shapes and sizes. 

• All parts are rated at either IP40 or IP67

These panel mount LEDs are ideal for use in applications such as industrial control panels or other demanding environments.  They are also ideally suited for transportation applications such as airplane cockpit lighting, railroad, truck & bus, ships, oil rigs and other applications where maintenance issues are a concern.

Prices start at $1.00 in production volumes. Lead-time is approx. 8 weeks ARO for production volumes.
