July 2010 - Chicago Miniature Lighting Announces Light-Line^TM - New LED Strip Light!

Chicago Miniature Lighting introduces their new environmentally-friendly LED strip light called Light-Line^TM. This 18" linear module is extremely easy to use and install. Using ChML’s Connect and Glow technology, all the user needs to do is supply 12V and the internal driver circuitry insures that the LEDs are supplied with the proper current to ensure bright even illumination. These ROHS compliant, energy-efficient Light Strips have a long life of over 50,000 hours and are available in 2 colors "Cool White" and "Warm White". ChML Light Strips offer the customers the advantage of reduced maintenance costs over conventional lamps, and have no IR or UV output radiation.

Perfect for any general illumination application including: office, retail, home, under cabinet, signage, furniture, under seat.

Chicago Miniature Lighting's new line of Panel Mount LED indicator lamps consists of over 700 new part numbers covering a broad range of various sizes, colors and voltage ranges.  These long-lasting devices are designed to replace incandescent or neon indicators in applications where shock and vibration can greatly shorten lamp life, or where lower power consumption is needed.

 

Features:

• 100,000 hours / 11 years average life (30-50 times longer vs. incandescent lamp equivalents)

• Rugged solid-state construction for shock and vibration resistance

• Low power consumption (up to 90% less power vs. incandescent lamps)

• Parts are designed to fit panel mounting holes ranging from 6mm up to 22mm and are available in voltages from 2v to 230V.  

• Available in a wide range of colors incorporating the latest InGaN and AlInGaP LED die technology.

• Available with matte, satin or black chrome bezels and a large assortment of lens shapes and sizes. 

• All parts are rated at either IP40 or IP67

These panel mount LEDs are ideal for use in applications such as industrial control panels or other demanding environments.  They are also ideally suited for transportation applications such as airplane cockpit lighting, railroad, truck & bus, ships, oil rigs and other applications where maintenance issues are a concern.
